The third story I wrote in this Draft was called Telepath, which is pretty tame all things considered, until you realize it's STILL a pun, because it features people walking down a treacherous path. It's only just over three thousand words--about one thousand words less than Morph Into Trouble.

Because in the last book I revealed you had to stare into someone's eyes to discover if someone had powers, Telepath, narrated by Aurora, starts with the gang decided who they are gonna "stare down" out of their friends, which is kind of creepy. Anyway, we meet Aurora's sister Hannah (who I originally called Taylor), who has cryokinesis, in other words, ice manipulation. We are then introduced to two new characters: Kat Robinson and Lucy Karry, who respectively have elasticity and weather manipulation. However the reveal that they have powers happens off-screen.

They go through the portal, train for five seconds, then take a break, and SUDDENLY EVERYONE IS FALLING INTO A CANYON.

Anyway, Aurora gets knocked out, and when she regains consciousness, she realizes she was saved by Kat. The two of them begin trekking down the canyon, and Aurora texts Alexia, and Alexia leads them down the canyon to where she and the rest are. Aurora and Kat discover a cave covered in smiley faces (for some reason), and then PLOT TWIST Alexia wasn't texting them! It was another sorcerer, Eli Warlock, who was using her phone to lure them into his trap!

However apparently all of these sorcerers are incompetent, because Aurora and Kat easily break out and find everyone else.

Eli then gives them an "ominous" threat, and then snaps his fingers. Everyone finds themselves in front of Liz's house, and the book ends on this cliffhanger.

I don't know, man, this book was a mess and really boring. Literally nothing happened in it.
