Why I Write

I have been writing stories ever since I was a little kid. I used to draw pictures and write (usually transcribed by my mom) stories that went along with them. I still have them in a box somewhere in my closet.

In fourth grade, though, is when I really discovered my love of writing. We had a creative writing project in which I had to write a fictional story in the first-person tense, and that story was The Secret Portal, my main series that I am working on.
