They looked around, everything was so big. “Holy cow!” shouted Christy. “I can’t believe it!” “This is way cool!” said Trish.

They tried out their wings. Trish went in circles shouting excitedly, “Weee!!!!” over and over and over. Christy went up and down slowly. After a few minutes they landed next to Natalie, both with smiles on their faces.

“Time to begin.” Natalie said.

They all flew past the tree and began to search for blue goo. A few feet from the tree on a leaf was a spot of goo. A few more feet, a spot was found on a stone. They followed the blue trail for over a mile to the edge of a cave.

“It ends here.” said Natalie.

“Do we have to go in there?” said Christy

“Yes.” said Natalie.

“Terrific. Can’t wait!” exclaimed Trish.

All three fairies flew into the dark cave. As they did, sparks of blue shot through the air!

Where were they? Not in a cave, but in a mushroom filled golden valley!

“Awesome!” shouted Trish.

Trish, Christy and Natalie breathed a deep breath. The fair tasted like sweet peppermint.

“Where are we?” asked Christy.

“Sweet-Mushroom grove.” stated Natalie. “Gobbies like to come here to feast on the mushrooms. The mushrooms give them energy and magical powers.”

“Like that blue guy over there?” asked Christy nervously. Christy pointed to a mushroom several yards away, “Yes.” whispered Natalie.

Oop the plot thickens.

I love how the third picture makes it look like they traveled like two feet, not a mile.

Also, Christy and Trish are taking this remarkably well.
