Childhood Stories - In the Dark

These were the first things I read aloud on my TikTok so I don't know why it took me so long to talk about on my blog.

I first got into writing when I was little and drew stories on pieces of paper with my markers, then my mom would write down what I told her to write, then we'd staple everything together and call it a book.

The first "book" I wrote was called "In the Dark," and it followed a nameless little girl being tucked into bed. The lights were off, and she was scared. Then, her parents come in and tell her she'd be okay, which makes her feel better, but she's still scared.

However, the plot suddenly stops for one final page the next morning where she and her sister play with a ball in the house as her dad gets ready for work.

Not much of a story involved here, but it's definitely really cute, and was my first story, so it's nostalgic.
