Originally, I showed the scenes I am to describe in this excerpt, but to keep the flow of the story at a reasonable pace, cut awkward dialogue, and stay within the page limit, my classmates suggested I turn this scene into a montage. If I were to adapt this story (which I plan to), I would actually show the scenes.
