I'd say enjoy but I don't want to lie to you.

Chapter Seven

I Get Trapped in a……Wait……WHAT????!!!!!

I opened my eyes. All around me was dark. There was a little light coming from one wall though. I looked around me. Nellie and Mikey were there and I felt safe. But then I looked at the wall were the light was coming from.

Bars. Just bars.

I looked up. There was a small window high on the wall. There was bars on that too.

We were in a dungeon. The guy put us in a dungeon.

I heard footsteps. I looked out the bared walls.

The guy was standing there.

“YOU!!!!” I yelled. “YOU ARE THE ONE WHO CAPTURED US AND THREW US IN A DUNGEON!!!!!!!!!!!”

The man looked like he was glaring at me. (It’s really hard to tell when his hat is so low.)

“Morgan,” he said, using my last name, which there is no way he knew that. “I should have known.”

“What are you talking about?” I asked.

He glared (I think) at me again. “Your sister put my brother in one of my dungeons! The only one that didn’t have a lock! I wanted to get her and Austin but they disappeared after Quincy got locked up.”

Mikey appeared by my side. “Austin?” he asked.

The man glared at him. “Austin’s brother,” he said. Then he looked at both of us. “Your sisters put my brother in my dungeon!” He pointed to the cell across from us. There was a man inside that looked exactly like this guy. I guess he’s Quincy.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“William Warlock,” he said. “The sorcerer who wanted my revenge on your sisters, but I guess I can just do it on you.”

“Leave them alone!” Nellie shouted, coming out from the shadows.

William Warlock looked at her. “Miss Newman, I didn’t mean to hypnotize you. You were just in the way. I won’t punish you because I want revenge on a sibling, but I will just for the fun of it!”

This guy is seriously evil.

“You’ll never win!” I said as bravely as I could, but I was trembling, so I bet I didn’t look that brave. I probably looked how I felt-terrified.

“Oh,” said William. “I’m sorry, but I already have!”

And with that, he turned on his heal, and walked away.

Chapter Eight

Boooooooooooooooordom

Sooooooooooo boooooooooooooored!!!!!!!!!!!! Who knew that being in a dungeon would be boring? I always thought that it would be so scary it wouldn’t be boring! But after one hour, 53 minutes, and 54.254136984 seconds, (according to my extremely cool watch) the fear went away, and boredom came. I’m not sure if we should be lucky or not. I mean, Nellie and I are the first 8-year-olds and Mikey is the first 7-year-old to be in a sorcerer’s dungeon.

Congratulations!

Madison Olivia Morgan, Michael Isaiah Austin, and Nellie Alice Newman are the youngest people to ever be in a dungeon!

A sorcerer wanted to get revenge on Alexia Irene Morgan and Aurora Hailey Austin, but instead got their younger siblings and a friend!

They will receive this certificate as an award!

Yeah, not the best award ever.

Nellie, Mikey, and I tried talking to pass the time by talking, but whenever did, William scared the living daylights out of us.

So, we wrote on the dirt walls with some sticks we found. This is what we wrote:

Me: I’m thinking of a number between one and 1000.

Nellie: 500?

Me: No, lower.

Mikey: 200?

Me: No. Lower.

Nellie: 1?

Me: No. Higher.

Nellie: I give up.

Mikey: Me too.

Me: It was 17.

We all sighed. It was clear we were bored. So we quit “Guess My Number” and went to “Hang Man”

This is what we wrote:

Nellie: _ _ _ _ _

Me: A?

Nellie: No. Not A.

Mikey: E?

Nellie: _ _ _ e_

Me: O?

Mikey: I?

Nellie: Not I. _ o_e_

Mikey: I give up.

Me: Me too.

Nellie: Bored

Me: Of course. Duh!

As you can see, it was a pretty boring time.

Chapter Nine

Plans

Well, it was clear we needed a plan.

This is what we came up with:

  1. We manipulate him into letting us out

  2. We use spoons to dig our way out

  3. Blow the jail cell up with dynamite

  4. Threaten that we will throw boiling hot water at his face

  5. Punch him

  6. None of the above

Yeah. We were doomed.

I really don't like this.

Not only is it boring, but these kids are so unlikeable--whining about being bored instead of being likeable characters. Nothing is happening in any of these chapters.

The good news is that I've improved a lot over the years, so I'm proud to see how far I've come.
