Character Introduction: Liam Beaumont

Today, I introduce Liam Beaumont:

Liam is a witty and intelligent young man who always loves a good debate and seeing things from multiple angles. He has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and is an excellent person to turn to for analysis, devil's advocate, and brainstorming. He's a shapeshifter who loves to approach everything from every angle, believing this is the vest way to learn about something is to thoroughly understand it. He's very charismatic, making friends with anyone from any perspective or background, and creative, having a hobby of creating film that he wants to turn into a substantial career. He's the kind of person who has no problem pulling all-nighters, despite having a difficulty focusing, as he is constantly hopping from one topic to another. He hates being confined into a box, but he's good at adapting, and often naturally becomes a strong leader even if he doesn't want it. He's optimistic despite fears of being rejected and hates asking for helping, but he is an honest and stellar communicator who is always willing to help to the best of his abilities.

Liam was another addition to Draft Four to add more male characters, but he was originally called Seamus Callaghan, which later became Seamus Beaumont, which became Liam Beaumont. I never really liked the name Seamus for him (no offense to the name), but Liam works very well. It was very unfortunate that his personality wasn't really anything in Draft Four, but I knew that had to change in Draft Five, and I'm really glad it did, because he is a fun character to write for, but I'll admit it is very challenging to write someone smarter and wittier than myself. I also want to clarify something: the avatar I used clearly has the trans flag in the background, but his ability to shapeshift has nothing to do with that, as his version of shapeshifting allows him to change the texture of his skin to anything he wants (e.g., water, wood, diamond, stone, etc.). He used to have the ability to shapeshift into other forms, but I found that to be pretty boring and useless in the context of the actual plot, so I changed the type of shapeshifting and I find it pretty badass honestly. Him being trans developed separate from this change.
