Character Introduction: Lexi Morgan

Over the next few days, I am going to introduce some of my OCs, albeit briefly to avoid major spoilers (plot points and character arcs), although I will have some minor spoilers, such as their powers, but I have talked about them on my Twitter before, in previous blog posts on this site when discussing previous drafts, and the book isn't even published yet.

Today, we have Lexi Morgan:

Lexi is a confident out-going girl who has a wide circle of friends that she is always fully conscious of, including the smallest of details, even if she has a tendency to put some of them on pedestals. She's involved with her school, extra-curriculars, as well as the super-powered team on the weekends--loyal and reliable to a fault. She's a teleporter who catches onto physical and kinesthetic activities almost instantly, but despite this and her personality, she does have sensory issues when it comes to physical contact with others, and therefore consistently wears long sleeves, pants, and gloves in order to avoid it. She has a strong moral compass that she is very stubborn with adjusting, respects authority, and constantly searches for validation from it.

If you recall from previous drafts, "Alexia" did exist, but she has evolved over the years to be much more than she was. She used to be nothing more than a self-insert, even by Draft Four, but she has evolved beyond that. There are still a few traits we have in common, of course, due to her stimming from being a self-insert, but now I'm proud that she's evolved, and besides, all of my characters have a little bit of me inside them.
