Character Introduction: Alex Vaughn

Today, y'all get to meet Alex Vaughn:

Alex is an energetic teenager who loves to entertain her friends. She soaks up attention and loves being in the spotlight. She's aesthetically inclined and very observant. As a teleporter, she loves to zip around the room to different places at the spur of the moment, and is an athlete in a specific type of tennis meant for teleporters. She loves it when people confide in her, and gives them very practical and straightforward advice. She's a little unfocused and can't stay focused on the long-term, but she never holds back an ounce of her energy, and can chat for hours moving from topic to topic. She longs for the sense of adventure and fun, has excellent people skills, and has extremely powerful emotions. She's conflict-adverse and is easily bored, always looking for an immediate pleasure, even when it's risky. She's a quick-thinker and very confident, believing that she can handle anything life throws at her, meaning she's extremely optimistic to the point she thinks she always needs to be happy. She's deeply distressed by conflicts, and despite her social skills, has problems with keeping friends. However, she has no problem making them, and always lights up the room whenever she's in it.

I didn't expect to get invested in Alex, but she was always such a fun character to write, and I knew I had to do more with her than I had planned. I have a pretty good outline for an arc for her, as she was one of the characters I knew needed more of a plot, as it felt like she was just There most of the time, as you will see with the next set of characters. However, it's a lot of fun to write her, as she's so energetic and fun.
